here’s a little story about me
I was born an artist the way some children are born with a full head of hair. I started photographing everything at such a young age that I honestly don’t remember a time that a camera was out of sight. My first styled shoots featured the modeling expertise of my cat, usually donning a crown that I had made of paper and layered beneath a sea of dolls, stuffies, and random objects that seemed important at the time.
been there, done that
This is not my first career, or my second… I started out with a degree in psychology, an open heart and a recession. I was a support for children affected by Autism for ten years before I decided to pivot. My heart was still wide open, but the Masters I was looking at would have meant no paid work, so I decided to pivot and become an Interior Designer. I have spent the better part of the last 10 years drawing dream homes in AutoCAD and 3D and it took a while to realize that wasn’t my only calling.
I have been a photographer my whole life, but decided to do it professionally in 2018 when we returned home from a year abroad. Nothing opens me up like travel. I started shooting family friends and in 2020, I made my business official.
